Merry Christmas!

Having Christmas morning with Ryan was a first for me this year. Because we will officially be family in June, I felt it was time for us to start our own Christmas traditions. We opted out of buying gifts for one another because there's nothing we need and I feel that we just end up exchanging money. We decided to do stockings (which is my opinion is the most fun) and have a nice dinner out together. We went to Nao Steakhouse and it was delicious. It was so nice to spend an evening with Ryan and catch up. Christmas can be so hectic and I find people can lose sight of what it's really about. I think an activity instead of gifts will be our tradition going forward.
